Role Description
The QMHP-CS/Assistant Program Director in Training supports the delivery of quality mental health services by managing daily program operations and assisting in therapeutic interventions. Key responsibilities include facilitating treatment planning, providing emotional and behavioral support, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Houston, TX, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work. The position also includes opportunities to gain leadership skills and grow into a Program Director role.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of mental health services such as Intake, Assessments, Outreach, counseling practices or behavioral interventions
- Strong organizational, administrative, and program management with supervisory skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and an empathetic approach
- Prior experience in mental health, social work, or case management is preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment
- Proficiency in documentation and compliance with regulatory and organizational guidelines
- CANS/ANSA, Nurturing Parent, Wraparound Training certifications Required
