Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Bi-lingual Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to join our dynamic team. The AMFT will play a crucial role in providing mental health counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. This position is ideal for those passionate about supporting clients through their mental health journeys and who possess a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques.
Duties
- Conduct individual therapy sessions in both English and/or Spanish focusing on mental health counseling.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on client assessments and needs.
- Utilize various therapeutic modalities.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in clinical counseling.
- Attend individual and group supervision on a weekly basis.
Qualifications
- Fluent in Spanish (written and spoken)
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
- Current registration as an AMFT with the appropriate licensing board.
- Experience or strong interest in working with children and adolescence.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
- Commitment to ethical practice and continuous learning within the mental health field.
