Key Qualifications And Experience
- Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational environments
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing intervention plans
- Strong knowledge of special education processes, including IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, educators, and administrators
- Commitment to confidentiality, cultural competence, and ethical practice
- Flexibility and organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to interpret assessment results and recommend strategies
- Develop and support the implementation of interventions, behavior plans, and individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Offer crisis intervention and ongoing counseling for students as needed
- Facilitate professional development and offer consultative support to educational staff
- Keep timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
