Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ABA Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with children, particularly those with autism and developmental disabilities. As an ABA Therapist, you will implement individualized treatment plans, assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), and provide support in a variety of settings to promote positive behavioral changes.

Responsibilities

  • Implement applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to support clients in achieving their goals.
  • Work closely with children and their families to develop and execute effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring they receive the necessary support for independence.
  • Collect and analyze data on client progress, documenting findings accurately in medical records.
  • Collaborate with other professionals in the field of special education and behavioral health to enhance treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
  • Provide education and training to families on behavior management strategies and techniques.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in ABA therapy.

Experience

  • Prior experience in behavioral therapy or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working with children, particularly those diagnosed with autism or developmental disabilities, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation practices, and care plans is essential.
  • Strong understanding of patient care principles and the ability to manage behavioral health challenges effectively.
  • Skills in teaching and data collection are important for tracking client progress and adjusting interventions as needed.
