About neuroHealth
At neuroHealth, we specialize in bridging the gap in care coordination for individuals living with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. We partner seamlessly with California Regional Centers who are funded by the California Department of Developmental Services. Our program, neuroHealth, is designed to address the often challenging task of coordinating medical, psychiatric, and other psycho-social resources for individuals and families. Our mission is to offer a holistic and whole-person approach to care, seeking clinicians who are able to think outside of the box of healthcare and work with an interdisciplinary team. We are a passionate team of clinicians, technologists, and advocates with lived experience.
Essential Responsibilities
- Psychological testing, assessments, and integrative reports.
- Trained in trauma-informed treatment modalities.
- Must accept the assignment within 24 hours of being offered the position.
- Work flexible hours and maintain agility.
- Give clear, concise, and constructive feedback where appropriate.
- Guide through the cases, rules, guidelines, ethical policies, billing, payments, etc.
- Be communicative with the billing department by submitting claims in a timely manner and keeping the referring doctor up to date with progress reports.
- Psychometric testing (including but not limited to the CPCI, MHP, SOPA, etc.) and integrative reports - whole-person and risk assessments, as well as providing psychological and behavioral input for medication management and/or nutrition plan support.
- Ability to work with multi-ethnic populations and populations with mental illness and developmental/intellectual disabilities.
- Ability to work in a flexible work environment;
- Well organized, self-directed, and with good interpersonal skills.
- Attend remote team meetings with neuroHealth as needed.
Qualifications
- Have a current California license to practice Clinical and Pain Psychology
- LCSW(Required)
- Clinical Psychology: 5 years (Required)
- Education or experience working with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities: 2 years (Required)
- Trauma-Informed Care: 3 years (Preferred)
