About Canyon Therapy

At Canyon Therapy, we’re deeply committed to enriching the lives of children with autism through compassionate, individualized care. We provide high-quality in-home ABA therapy, partnering closely with families to support meaningful progress in the environments where children learn and thrive most naturally.

Our team is driven by compassion, collaboration, and innovation, with a strong belief in the unique potential of every child. We strive to create a supportive and rewarding environment not only for our clients, but also for the clinicians who serve them.

Position Overview

We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide individualized, evidence-based ABA services to autistic children in their homes. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct and lasting impact through hands-on clinical work, caregiver collaboration, and team leadership.

You’ll lead therapeutic interventions, conduct assessments, guide caregiver training, and supervise RBTs while working closely with families and our supportive clinical team to facilitate meaningful progress for your clients.

This position is ideal for clinicians who value relationship-centered care, flexibility, and the opportunity to grow alongside a developing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skill assessments to guide treatment planning.
  • Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans using ABA principles.
  • Provide in-person, in-home ABA supervision and support tailored to each child’s needs and family goals with occasional remote supervision options.
  • Collect, analyze, and use data to track client progress and adjust programming accordingly.
  • Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and behavior therapists.
  • Collaborate closely with families by sharing goals, updates, strategies, and caregiver training.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in team meetings to coordinate care and strengthen clinical practices.

Professional Growth Opportunities

At Canyon Therapy, we believe in investing in our clinicians. As our organization continues to grow, we are committed to creating opportunities for BCBAs to expand their leadership, clinical expertise, and long-term career development.

We offer:

  • Opportunities to help shape clinical programming and company culture.
  • Supportive mentorship and collaboration with leadership.
  • Flexibility to grow your caseload over time based on your availability and goals.
  • Potential for future leadership and supervisory opportunities as the company expands.
  • A collaborative environment where your ideas and clinical input are valued.
  • Opportunities to use and learn new clinical technology to streamline assessments

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required.
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Texas required.
  • Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field.
  • Experience providing ABA therapy to children, especially autistic clients.
  • Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, data-driven decision-making, and staff supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Reliable, organized, and ethically grounded clinician.
  • Must be willing to provide in-person, in-home services.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: $80/hour — notably above average compensation in the Dallas market.
  • Flexible scheduling with supportive administrative systems to streamline clinical responsibilities.
  • Supportive, family-focused environment with a manageable caseload and strong work-life balance.
  • Current caseload expectation: 5–15 hours per week, with strong potential for additional hours and growth over time.

According to recent market data, many BCBA positions in the Dallas area average significantly lower hourly compensation. By offering $80/hour, Canyon Therapy demonstrates our commitment to valuing highly skilled clinicians and delivering exceptional care to families.
