Job Summary
Maysville Community and Technical College is seeking an Admissions Counselor I (Recruiter) to join our team. The position has the ability to work at any of our campus locations- Licking Valley, Maysville, Mount Sterling, or Rowan. This position supports the implementation of recruitment plans, organizes events, works with staff and student/alumni volunteers, evaluates admissions applications and represents the institution to prospective students with a goal of attracting, admitting, and enrolling a talented, diverse student body. This is not a remote position.
Job Duties:
- Schedule and conduct recruitment and outreach visits in assigned schools and counties in the MCTC service area.
- Manage data within the new CRM system (including text, email, and phone communications) to ensure consistent and direct engagement with leads and tracking of all recruitment/outreach visits.
- Partner with Academics, Admissions, Recruiting, Student Records, Financial Aid, and Marketing in coordinating both on-campus and off-campus college visits, events, and outreach campaigns.
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with K-12 institutions, business and industry partners, and community stakeholders.
- Support the Enrollment & Student Services department by providing coverage and assisting with student walk-in inquiries.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
