Job Description:

Sunny Skies ABA is hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is looking to do meaningful work through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

We’re a small, family-centered team that genuinely values your input. We focus on quality of care, not overwhelming caseloads; and give our BCBAs the space to do good clinical work.

Why join Sunny Skies?

Impactful Work: Work closely with children with autism and their families using evidence-based ABA therapy
Supportive Team: Collaborate with an experienced ABA team where your voice matters
Work/Life Balance: We respect your time and your life outside of work
Manageable Caseloads: 20-25 billable hours so you can focus on quality care
Professional Growth: Growth opportunities available
Autonomy: Flexibility to make clinical decisions based on best practices
Competitive Pay: Strong compensation based on your experience

What you’ll do:

  • Provide BCBA supervision and clinical guidance to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
  • Conduct behavior assessments including VB-MAPP, ABLLS, Vineland, and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)
  • Develop and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs
  • Provide parent training and support generalization of skills across settings
  • Monitor and ensure accurate data collection and analysis
  • Support clients during behavior challenges using ABA principles and behavior reduction strategies
  • Collaborate with a small ABA team to continuously improve clinical outcomes

Requirements:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • North Carolina LBA licensure
  • Experience with RBT supervision, parent training, and behavior intervention
  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and autism services

If you’re looking for a BCBA role in ABA therapy where you can actually focus on your clients and not feel stretched thin, we’d love to connect.
