The PRN Behavioral Health Clinical Support Specialist / CDCA Group Facilitator will provide flexible evening and weekend support for Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorder programming. This position will assist with Saturday Attendance Recovery Group coverage for combined IOP/PHP clients, evening SUD group coverage, and Saturday walk-in assessment clinic coverage as assigned. The role supports timely access to care, continuity of medically necessary treatment services, client engagement, and reduction of service disruption. Evening and weekend availability, including Saturdays, is required. Saturday coverage is expected to be completed in person unless otherwise approved. PRN staff will be expected to maintain active availability and may be required to facilitate at least two groups per month or provide equivalent billable clinical support based on agency need. Continued PRN status will be based on availability, performance, productivity, documentation compliance, and program need.

Minimum PRN Productivity Expectation

To support productivity and offset the associated seat cost of the position, PRN staff are expected to maintain active availability and provide services on a regular basis.

At minimum, the PRN employee may be required to:

  • Facilitate or co-facilitate at least two groups per month, or
  • Provide an equivalent amount of billable clinical support based on program need, or
  • Provide Saturday assessment/group coverage as assigned.

Continued PRN status will be based on availability, performance, documentation compliance, productivity, and agency/program need.

Required Qualifications

  • CDCA required; higher SUD or behavioral health credential preferred.
  • Experience or interest in Substance Use Disorder treatment services.
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours, including Saturdays.
  • Ability to provide services in person at assigned agency locations.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams, supervisors, support staff, and community partners.
  • Knowledge of client engagement, confidentiality, boundaries, and ethical practice.
  • Ability to support clients with substance use, mental health, justice involvement, and other barriers to care.
  • Must meet agency requirements for background checks, onboarding, training, and credentialing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience facilitating or co-facilitating SUD groups.
  • Experience working with justice-involved clients or adult probation populations.
  • Familiarity with IOP, PHP, outpatient SUD treatment, or recovery support services.
  • Familiarity with ASAM dimensions, treatment planning, client engagement, and group documentation.
  • Flexible availability across evening and Saturday hours.
