Mental Health Therapist – Murrells Inlet Area

Oceanic Counseling Group is currently seeking a full-time licensed mental health therapist to join our growing Murrells Inlet, South Carolina office.

We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about providing quality outpatient psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families within a supportive private practice setting. Candidates should be comfortable treating a variety of mental health concerns across diverse populations while maintaining strong clinical documentation and ethical standards.

Position Requirements

  • Active South Carolina clinical license required
  • Experience providing outpatient mental health therapy services
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment
  • Comfortable utilizing electronic health record systems for scheduling and documentation
  • Ability to pass required background screeningsSchedule & Work Environment

This is a full-time W-2 position offering a flexible hybrid schedule.

  • In-office availability required Wednesday–Friday between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Virtual hours may be scheduled Saturday–Tuesday
  • Clinicians have flexibility in building their schedules while maintaining full-time availability expectations

We currently operate clinical offices in Myrtle Beach, Carolina Forest, Murrells Inlet, Columbia, Irmo, Greenville, Forest Acres, and North Charleston, along with our administrative office located in Surfside Beach.

Our organization schedules hundreds of new client appointments monthly and provides clinicians with ongoing administrative, scheduling, and billing support so they can focus on clinical care.
