Summary:
The Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC II/LCDC III/LICDC) provides substance abuse counseling and recovery support services to individuals participating in treatment programs. This role is responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, monitoring client progress, facilitating recovery programming, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support successful treatment outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide alcohol and drug counseling services to individuals on assigned caseloads
- Complete intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning documentation
- Coordinate with medical, mental health, education, recreation, volunteer, and community service providers to support individualized treatment planning
- Monitor attendance, participation, and progress within substance abuse recovery programs
- Review case files and treatment participation for ongoing care planning
- Provide continuing care planning and recovery support services
- Intervene in crisis situations and provide appropriate client support
- Review records for program admission consideration and treatment planning needs
- Coordinate and facilitate substance abuse recovery programming, including support for individuals with co-occurring mental health conditions
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards in all client interactions
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Pay: Up to $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
