Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist specializing in Psychological Testing and Assessment to join our dynamic mental health team. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, administer standardized testing, and develop tailored treatment plans to support individuals across diverse age groups and backgrounds. Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed psychological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations, cognitive testing, and behavioral health screenings for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Administer and interpret a variety of standardized psychological tests to evaluate mental health conditions, cognitive functioning, and developmental progress.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, incorporating evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care for PTSD, addiction counseling, and psychotherapy.
- Provide patient care through individual, group, or family therapy sessions in outpatient, inpatient, or telehealth settings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Offer crisis intervention services when necessary to support patients experiencing acute mental health episodes or emergencies.
- Supervise clinical staff or interns as needed while ensuring adherence to ethical standards and best practices in psychological testing and patient care.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children and families in clinical settings, including school-based environments or pediatric clinics.
- Demonstrated expertise in psychological testing across diverse populations such as individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), disabilities, or geriatrics.
- Prior experience conducting intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and behavioral health interventions in outpatient or inpatient facilities.
- Strong background in crisis intervention techniques and managing urgent mental health situations effectively.
- Telehealth experience is highly desirable to facilitate remote assessments and therapy sessions.
- Supervisory experience overseeing clinical staff or interns is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, medical records management, and documentation standards essential for maintaining patient confidentiality.
