Objectives of the position:
As an ambassador of Jesus Christ, this full-time position provides mental and spiritual healthcare by integrating Christian faith and principles with clinical counseling techniques to treat clients facing personal, emotional, spiritual, or relational issues. This position will serve under the Counseling Services Director.
Qualifications:
- Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
- Be a committed, involved member of a local church.
- Exhibit a strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position and sexual purity.
- Hold a valid state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC).
- Possess a strong understanding of Christian theology and principles to guide counseling.
- Demonstrate proficiency in various therapeutic techniques and strategies.
- Agree with and be willing to uphold the Guiding Principles, Statement of Faith, and policies of the center.
- Engage in ongoing continuing education to stay updated in their faith and counseling knowledge.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assessments & Diagnosis: Conduct clinical and spiritual assessments to identify client needs and mental health conditions
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement evidence-based, individualized treatment plans incorporating both clinical strategies and Christian principles.
- Counseling Services: Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to address a range of issues, from depression and addiction to relational conflicts and spiritual crises.
- Spiritual Integration: Integrate biblical principles, prayer, Scripture reading, and worship into therapy sessions as appropriate for clients.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, clinicians, clergy, and client families to provide comprehensive care and support as needed.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date client records and progress notes in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
- Ethical Practice: Adhere to the ethical guidelines of the counseling profession and the unique framework of Christian counseling.

Pay: $51,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year
