HealthCare Recruiters International is seeking Associate Mental Health Clinicians (AMFT, APCC, ASW) or Licensed Therapists (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) for a full-time or part-time opportunity within an established outpatient forensic mental health program serving the Santa Cruz County region. This role offers specialization in sex offender treatment, structured supervision, and long-term clinical growth within a stable outpatient setting.

Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Set schedules available between 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • No routine weekend shifts; occasional appointments may be scheduled as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical assessment and treatment for adult sex offender population
  • Provide therapy services to non-offending family members
  • Complete case management and maintain clinical documentation
  • Participate in clinical team meetings and case consultations
  • Represent the program in community and court settings as needed
  • Attend ongoing training, conferences, and professional development
  • Provide court testimony when required

Training and Development:

  • 90-day structured onboarding and training program
  • CASOMB supervision and didactic training provided
  • Required to obtain CASOMB Apprentice Level within 2 weeks of start
  • Ongoing supervision and career growth opportunities in forensic mental health

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
  • Active California BBS registration (AMFT, APCC, ASW) or licensed (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
  • New graduates welcome; supervision provided
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Ability to provide compassionate, non-judgmental care
  • On-site in Capitola, CA

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $70,000 – $85,000 base salary
  • $5,000 relocation assistance (in-state)
  • Up to $30,000 loan forgiveness
