POSITION OVERVIEW

The BCBA will serve as a key clinical contributor under the executive oversight of the Clinical Director. This role is responsible for delivering evidence-based behavioral assessments, developing and implementing individualized behavior support plans, maintaining regulatory compliance, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve outstanding participant outcomes.


EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt Employee
  • Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 annually (commensurate with experience and credential level)
  • Schedule: Monday – Thursday in office | Friday work from home
  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (in-office); 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (remote)
  • Location: 2369 Lincoln Avenue, Altadena, CA 91001


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical Assessment & Behavior Support Planning

  • Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for assigned participants across ICON-ADP, ICON-CCP, and PAM-ARF programs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) in accordance with BACB ethical standards, Title 17/22, and DDS requirements
  • Prepare and submit annual, semi-annual, 30-day, and ISP-related behavioral reports using company-designated templates and platforms
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA, Regional Center standards, and the California Lanterman Act

Clinical Oversight & Quality Assurance

  • Participate in the Monthly ICO and PAM Behavior Audit process under the supervision and direction of the Clinical Director
  • Implement data collection protocols, conduct ongoing data review, and adjust intervention strategies based on behavioral trends
  • Collaborate with RBTs, BDSP staff, and other clinical personnel to ensure fidelity of BSP implementation
  • Submit weekly written status reports to the Clinical Director by 5:00 PM Pacific each Friday

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Consult and coordinate regularly with the Clinical Director, Program Directors, and Executive Director on case priorities, timelines, and participant needs
  • Participate in coordination meetings with program leadership and interdisciplinary team members
  • Communicate proactively with Regional Center representatives, families, and external clinical partners as directed


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active BCBA certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Valid California licensure as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), or eligibility to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Experience providing behavioral services to adults with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Proficiency with clinical documentation platforms and Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Title 17/22, DDS regulations, Regional Center systems, and BACB ethical standards


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of post-certification BCBA experience in an adult day program, residential, or similar setting
  • Experience supervising RBTs and BCaBAs
  • Familiarity with HCBS Final Rule, HIPAA compliance, and community-based behavioral services
