Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), where you'll play a vital role in delivering comprehensive mental health and behavioral health services to diverse populations. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including intake interviews and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-10 and ICD coding systems.
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Provide specialized counseling for children with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and those requiring special education strategies.
- Manage crisis situations with prompt intervention techniques tailored to PTSD care, Alzheimer's care, geriatrics, and mental health emergencies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with medical records and HIPAA regulations.
- Document clinical notes accurately within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems while ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards and CPT coding requirements.
- Engage in case management activities including patient care coordination, community outreach, home visits, and social work interventions to support patients' holistic well-being. Skills
- Extensive experience in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and crisis intervention.
- Proven ability to work effectively with children, individuals with autism or developmental disabilities, and geriatric populations requiring specialized Alzheimer’s or dementia care.
- Strong knowledge of medical documentation practices, HIPAA compliance, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems, and medical terminology relevant to behavioral health.
- Skilled in conducting diagnostic evaluations for mental health disorders including PTSD and addiction counseling cases.
- Proficient in utilizing EMR systems for data collection, research documentation, patient records management, and clinical research activities.
- Experience working within hospital settings or community-based environments providing home & community care services.
