Job description:
Seeking a Patient Care Coordinator / Front Desk position for a pelvic health clinic. We're looking for compassionate, caring, and enthusiastic members to join our growing team. Applicants should be detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy being part of a dynamic, growing team.
The position is a full-time position with competitive compensation according to experience level and performance. This will be an in person role at our clinic. Duties include:
- Overseeing the scheduling of patients
- Filing paperwork electronically
- Answering the phones and explaining pelvic physical therapy to new patients. We believe the front desk is the face of the clinic to patients, and essential for the success of the clinic and a crucial part of our team.
- The position requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Start time is 8:00 AM and end time is 5:00pm.
About Us
ATL Pelvic Health is a specialty pelvic floor physical therapy clinic located in Atlanta, GA. We serve patients across the greater Atlanta area. We believe in hour-long treatment sessions with a qualified pelvic floor physical therapist with an emphasis on manual physical therapy and functional movement. We truly believe pelvic floor PT should be a standard of care for all people, especially during pregnancy and postpartum.
Principal Duties:
- To schedule patients over the phone or email
- To handle the daily scheduling, filling cancellations and scheduling follow-up appointments
- To represent the clinic with patients, whether on the phone or in person
- Handle and organize patient files and information
- Any other duties which may be required
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of one year experience in customer service setting - experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Documents.
- A high school diploma is required; an AA or bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner with patients and co-workers at all times.
- Able to take patient payment, use a fax machine, handle email communications, and a multi-line phone system.
- Ability to learn and communicate about pelvic floor physical therapy and the various diagnoses that are seen at the clinic.
- Handle paperwork filing in an organized manner.
- Communicate clearly in person and on the phone
