Colorful Minds ABA is looking for the best and brightest to join our family of Registered Behavior Technicians working closely with our families to build a strong foundation for their children with autism. Responsibilities of a Behavior Therapist/RBT include:
- Provides 1:1 therapy to our clients as well as leads or assists in peer play and social groups
- Help children acquire new skills and working towards individualized goals tailored for improving communication, social interaction, problem solving, and adaptive living skill
- Works with BCBA’s and provides feedback on child’s progress
- Teaches children appropriate social behaviors
- Ensures child’s safety during indoor activities
- Collect data throughout each session in a timely and efficient manner
- Be punctual and responsible
Qualification:
- 18 years of age
- High School Diploma (relevant college degree and coursework preferred)
- Ability to pass a background
- Valid state driver’s license
- Must have active RBT Certification
- Experience with individuals with ASD and/or developmental disabilities
- Strong technological skills for data collection and entry
- Professional written and oral communication

- Excellent time management skills including the ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize appropriately to deliver timely results and consistently meet deadlines

- Communication skills, both oral and written, that are clear, concise, exhibit leadership, professionalism, and empathy.
- Ability to work and collaborate effectively with a team from wide ranging backgrounds and perspectives.
