This role involves working closely with patients and physicians to assess genetic risks, interpret test results, and provide education and psychosocial support. The Genetic Counselor will serve as a key resource within a collaborative clinical environment.Responsibilities:Counsel patients at risk for hereditary cancersConduct comprehensive cancer risk assessmentsOrder and interpret genetic testingProvide education and guidance to patients and familiesOffer psychosocial support related to genetic diagnosesAct as a consultant/resource for physicians and care teamsMaintain accurate documentation of patient interactionsRequirements:Master’s Degree from an accredited genetic counseling training program (approved by the American Board of Genetic Counseling)Washington State Genetic Counselor License (provisional license accepted to start)Experience in genetic disorders, including cancer risk assessment and test interpretationStrong communication and patient counseling skillsPreferred Qualifications:At least 1 year of experience working with patients at risk for hereditary cancerFor more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807.
