Job Description
The School of Education, Social Work, and Psychological Sciences at the University of Missouri – Kansas City (UMKC) announces a search for a Temporary Professional Data Assistant at the Urban Education Research Center (UERC). This is a temporary, part-time position that reports to the Associate Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with UERC leadership team to collect project data
- Data entry, data cleaning, and data management
- Assist with preparing charts, tables, graphs, or written summaries of data of data output
- Assist with quantitative and qualitative data analysis
- Other duties as assigned
NOTE: This position is 100% externally funded and contingent on continued funding.
NOTE: This position is short-term and temporary expected to conclude work and not extend beyond May 1, 2027.
Preferred Qualifications
Strongly Preferred:
- Experience creating online surveys
- Experience conducting data entry and cleaning
- Experience working with spreadsheets such as Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience working with K-12 and/or postsecondary education data systems
- Experience conducting quantitative analyses
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $17.00 an hour.
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
