RISE Counseling is seeking licensed or pre-licensed mental health professionals (LMHC, LCSW, or LICSW) to join our growing, mission-driven practice. Whether you’re looking to add a night or two to your schedule or seeking a consistent 5–20 hours per week, we’d love to meet you!
Duties
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to address various mental health issues.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to assist clients in distress and ensure their safety.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to identify mental health disorders and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Document all client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in accordance with organizational policies.
- Provide psychotherapy, behavior therapy, or other counseling services to individuals or families.
- Provide intake and diagnostic assessments for new clients.
- Develop treatment plans in accordance with regulations and agency policy.
- Collaborate with collateral contacts and other providers as necessary.
- Complete documentation as required, using EHR
- Maintain a caseload with set minimums and Keep EHR calendar up to date
- Utilize collaborative documentation as a treatment modality
- Engage in effective coordination of care across health and behavioral health services to facilitate wellness and recovery of the whole person
- Facilitate and oversee clinical groups throughout the year
- Make referrals or link to care coordination
- Serve as a community educator by providing mental health information to relevant individuals, organizations, and groups
Experience
- A Master’s degree in Counseling/Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
- Valid Massachusetts license (LMHC, LCSW, LICSW)
- Proven experience in mental health
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and ethical standards in social work practice.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating independence when necessary.

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
