Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals, particularly children, who have developmental disabilities and autism. You will implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and provide support in various settings to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Provide direct support to clients, assisting them in daily activities and promoting independence.
- Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate needs and develop appropriate strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Experience
- Experience in patient care settings, including intake processes and medical documentation, is beneficial.
