Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality mental health services and support to individuals and families. This role involves working collaboratively with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and facilitate access to necessary resources. The Social Worker will play a crucial role in promoting mental wellness and addressing behavioral health issues within the community.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health and social needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client goals and needs.
  • Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions using evidence-based practices.
  • Engage in crisis intervention and management to support clients in acute situations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, educators, and community organizations.
  • Facilitate access to community resources such as housing, employment, and healthcare services.
  • Mentor and support clients in workforce development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stay informed about policies related to Medicare, child welfare, and other relevant social work regulations.

Skills

  • Proficient in motivational interviewing techniques to enhance client engagement.
  • Strong background in crisis intervention strategies and behavioral health practices.
  • Knowledge of workforce development principles and practices.
  • Experience working within child welfare systems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to mentor clients effectively, fostering personal growth and resilience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
