We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist for a locum tenens opportunity within a federal healthcare system in Loma Linda, California. This position supports behavioral health services across both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing the full range of psychiatric staff physician duties.

Position Overview

What You'll Be Doing

You will provide comprehensive psychiatric physician services covering the full scope of inpatient and outpatient staff psychiatrist duties within a behavioral health service line. This includes evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, treatment planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams across both care settings as needed.

Requirements

• MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
• Active, unrestricted California medical license
• DEA license
• Ability to pass federal facility credentialing requirements
• Compliance with federal privacy and information security training requirements including VA Privacy and HIPAA training upon onboarding

Occupational Health Requirements

The following must be completed prior to start:

• MMR vaccine or titer
• Hepatitis B vaccine or titer
• Varicella vaccine or titer
• TB skin test, bloodwork, or chest X-ray
• Influenza vaccination
