**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and behavioral therapy to children and individuals with special needs. **Duties:**
- Implement and maintain individualized behavioral plans in a home-based or clinical setting, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques to assess, develop, and implement strategies to address behavioral challenges and promote positive behaviors.
- Conduct patient assessments, observations, and data collection to inform treatment plans and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the physical, emotional, and behavioral needs of patients.
- Provide patient care, including assisting with daily living skills, meal preparation, and medical procedures, as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in behavioral health and patient care.
**Skills:**
- Experience working with children, including those with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation.
- Experience with data collection and analysis.
- Ability to inhale and work in an environment that may include odors or allergens.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
