Registered Behavior Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in helping clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life through effective behavior management strategies.

Duties

• Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with families and other team members to ensure consistency in care plans.
• Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in special education and medical terminology.

Experience

• Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical documentation processes and care plans is beneficial.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and data security.
• Understanding of behavior management strategies and techniques used in ABA therapy.
• Experience in data collection methods for tracking client progress is a plus.
• A background in special education or related fields will be considered an asset.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
