Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and student-focused School Psychologist to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year in Bellevue, WA. The School Psychologist will play a key role in supporting students’ academic achievement, social-emotional development, and overall well-being by providing assessment, intervention, and consultation services within a school-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results
Participate in eligibility meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Provide counseling and social-emotional support to students as needed
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention strategies
Support the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
Assist in crisis prevention, intervention, and response
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Qualifications:
Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology required (Doctoral degree preferred)
Valid Washington State ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification in School Psychology required
Experience in a school-based setting preferred
Strong assessment, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Skills:
Experience with diverse student populations and inclusive practices
Knowledge of behavioral and mental health interventions
Familiarity with special education laws and procedures in Washington State
