This full time exempt position, reporting to the Director, is responsible for developing and coordinating a network of resources and services to support the development of life skills and the achievement of health and welfare needs of residents serviced by the programs
Job Requirements
- Assessing individual resident needs regarding life skills and employment development
- Design and implement a referral and follow up process for clients
- Design programs that will enable each resident to achieve his/her goals as stated in the program plan
- Interpret rules and regulations, policies and procedures, and the standards and objectives of the company and contracting agencies
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports as required by contracts.
- Coordinating social service and employment resources
- Act decisively, tactfully and with firmness in emergency situations;
- Communicate effectively, orally and in writing with all levels of the organization and other components of the Criminal Justice System, and
- Participate in mandated training and development activities
- Meet contracting agency clearance requirements
- Performs other work-related job duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
One year of demonstrated satisfactory performance in a social science environment, experience working with a criminal justice population is a plus. Valid driver’s license.

- The functions of the Criminal Justice System
- The principles of community corrections, and
- Individual and group behavior of persons with criminal backgrounds
