Position Title: W-2 or Fee for Service options, Full-time Psychiatrist  Location: Gulfport, MS (Tele-psychiatry or onsite) Gulfport Behavioral Health System has been  a specialty hospital located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for more than 33 years. Gulfport Behavioral provides a full range of treatment options, including outpatient therapy, day treatment and inpatient services for children as young as 4 years of age, adolescents, and adults. We are dedicated to helping patients develop the skills necessary to live a life of long-term recovery and health. Position Overview: Role: Full-time Inpatient psychiatrist, Outpatient potential if interested Patient Population: Child/Adolescent primary, adults as needed Schedule: Monday-Friday Caseload: 15–20 daily caseload with NP assistance on the unit Weekend/weekday Coverage: Full-time W-2, one weekend a month is expected as part of the base salary. If fee for service, weekend call participation is preferred but not required. Employment Type: W-2 with benefits or Fee for Service with no benefits, full-time hours Additional earnings potential: Extra call options and Productivity Bonus Plan. Key Responsibilities: Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients. Participate in daily treatment team meetings. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines. Supervision of NP on unit Compensation and Benefits: W-2 — Competitive base salary plus benefits, PTO, sign-on bonus, and more Competitive fee for service rates for 1099. Qualifications: Education: Board Certification in General Psychiatry or BC in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry a plus. Training: Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency and Child/Adolescent fellowship program preferred. Licensure: Mississippi medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it. Experience: Must be comfortable treating child-adult populations. The primary daily caseload will be child and adolescent ages. Will see adults as needed. Leadership: Participation in meetings when requested by CEO. Supervision of NP on the unit.
