Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Responsibilities

• Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of a BCBA, utilizing principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Collect accurate data on client progress, behaviors, and responses during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment plans.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care routines, fostering independence and confidence.
• Support clients in educational settings by teaching communication, social skills, and functional life skills aligned with individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation, including care plans, progress notes, and session logs, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and update personalized behavior management strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
• Foster a positive and motivating environment that encourages client engagement, patience, and respect throughout therapy sessions.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training for all new team members.
• Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with special education practices and patient care protocols enhances your ability to support diverse client needs.
• Ability to accurately collect data and maintain detailed medical records using appropriate terminology is essential.
• Strong communication skills and patience are key assets for working effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is required; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
