Patient Care Coordinator- Dental Practice
Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for welcoming visitors, checking patients in and out for their appointments, answering incoming calls, and scheduling future appointments.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice
· Address patient’s questions and concerns with care
· Scheduling, rescheduling, confirming, or canceling appointments as needed
· Follow up on no shows/cancellation of appointments
· Assist patients to fill out information forms.
· Updating patient records in practice management software and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
· Generate and present Treatment Plans.
· Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
· Performing general office duties as needed.
· Insurance claims, pre-authorizations and posting insurance payment.
· Organize and maintain patient waiting areas as well as front-desk areas
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Working knowledge of general administrative practices.
· Excellent telephone etiquette.
· Exceptional organizational skills.
· Impeccable Customer Service
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or GED.
· Experience working in a dental or medical office preferred
· Sound knowledge of dental terminology.
· Experience with dental practice management software
Pay: $25.00 per hour
