Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist (LCSW) (LPC) (LICSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality mental health services and support to individuals and families. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions in a professional and ethical manner. The Therapist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
- Implement crisis management strategies to assist clients in acute distress or emergencies.
- Document all patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Utilize ICD-10 coding for accurate diagnosis documentation and billing processes.
- Provide specialized care for individuals experiencing PTSD, ensuring tailored interventions that address their unique challenges.
- Collaborate with educational institutions to support clients with special education needs, advocating for their rights and access to resources.
Job Requirements
- A Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology or Human Services related field from an accredited institution is required.
- Valid WV state licensure as a (LCSW), (LICSW), (LPC)
- Experience in psychotherapy and mental health counseling is preferred.
- Familiarity with crisis management techniques and patient assessment methodologies is essential.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ethical standards in social work practice is necessary.
- Previous experience in community-based settings or home care environments is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Preference working with Kids and Adolescents.
