Responsibilities

• Provide peer support services to individuals with mental health conditions, including assessment, goal setting, and skill development

• Develop and implement personalized recovery plans, incorporating physical, emotional, and social well-being

• Facilitate support groups and educational workshops to promote shared learning and community building

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and progress

Requirements

• Certificate in a relevant field (e.g., Mental Health, Substance Abuse, or Social Work)

• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a peer support or similar role

• Strong understanding of mental health conditions and recovery principles

• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

• Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
