Manufacturing Experience Required – Do Not Apply Without It
FIRST AND SECOND SHIFT OPENINGS
Responsibilities
- Mechanical Polishing: Polish metal parts (such as stainless steel) by hand or machine using tools like belt sanders, grinders, and buffers to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish. Inspect parts for surface defects and ensure they meet specifications.
- Electropolishing: Operate electropolishing equipment to improve surface finish and corrosion resistance. Monitor bath conditions to maintain consistent quality.
- Cleaning & Deburring: Clean parts using ultrasonic cleaners or acid baths to remove oils and contaminants. Deburr parts to remove sharp edges.
- Quality Control: Inspect parts using precision tools (micrometers, profilometers) to verify they meet customer specifications. Record processes and results for traceability.
- Equipment & Safety: Maintain polishing, cleaning, and electropolishing equipment. Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Experience: Mechanical polishing or electropolishing experience preferred (manufacturing or metal finishing).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment. Must be comfortable safely handling chemicals and abrasive materials.
