Unit Helpers (Daytime 7am - 1pm)

The Unit Helper works under the direction of the unit manager or charge nurse. This position involves performing the duties such as

1. Makes unoccupied beds
2. Turns down and gets pads for unoccupied beds 
3. Straightens out resident rooms to meet environmental standards.
4. Passes fresh water in carafes.
5. Pours ice water prior to meals.
6. Transports residents to Activities, Dining Room, Podiatrist, Dentist, etc.
7. Passes and prepares meal trays
8. Records Intake & Output (I&O) and percent of meal consumed
9. Answers call bells as directed
10. Provides a safe, pleasant and clean environment for the residents at mealtime
11. Cleans and washes wheelchairs as directed

Compensation details: 16-16.5 Hourly Wage
