Okay, but what does an Expo actually do?
- Act as the final checkpoint for every dish — checking accuracy, plating, and portion sizes before it reaches a guest
- Bridge the gap between the kitchen (BOH) and servers (FOH), keeping communication clear and service running on time
- Organize and prioritize incoming tickets to maintain kitchen pace and keep wait times short
- Keep the expo station clean, stocked, and ready to roll throughout service
- Assist with packaging takeout and delivery orders accurately and efficiently
