Duties
- Lead and supervise children during a variety of camp activities, including arts and crafts, sports, theater, and outdoor adventures
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants by implementing proper behavior management and classroom management techniques
- Facilitate age-appropriate lessons and activities that support childhood development and early childhood education principles
- Assist in setting up program spaces, organizing supplies, and preparing materials for daily activities
Skills
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive environment for children of various ages
- Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, summer camp, tutoring, or babysitting
- Excellent communication skills to engage children and collaborate with team members effectively
