Marquis Health Consulting Services provides administrative and consulting services to skilled nursing facilities and Senior Housing communities throughout the United States Eastern Seaboard. Social Worker:

• Evaluate patients (existing, new and prospective) based on their needs and limitations

• Address patient concerns and goals while maintaining constant communication with the patient as well as a case manager

• Build rapport with patients and their families

• Coordinate care with PT departments

• Develop care plans for patients

Qualifications of Social Worker: Must have an LSW/CSW

• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree is strongly preferred.

• Experience as a social worker in a healthcare-related setting. Experience within a nursing home or rehabilitation center is strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of the rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern nursing care facilities.

• Communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
