Job Summary
Auspicious Community Service is seeking an experienced and dependable QMHP Supervisor to oversee daily operations for our Lufkin service area. This position is responsible for supervising QMHP staff, reviewing schedules and documentation, ensuring clients are consistently seen, addressing family concerns, and maintaining staff accountability.

The QMHP Supervisor will help ensure that services are delivered efficiently, documentation is completed accurately, and staff remain compliant with company expectations, Medicaid standards, and organizational policies.

This is a working supervisor role, meaning the selected candidate will also maintain a small caseload and provide direct services to assigned clients when needed.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, strong in leadership, knowledgeable in documentation compliance, and capable of managing both staff oversight and client care responsibilities.

Duties

  • Supervise QMHP staff assigned to the Lufkin service area
  • Monitor daily staff performance and maintain accountability for job expectations
  • Review staff schedules to ensure clients are scheduled appropriately and consistently
  • Ensure assigned clients are being seen according to service expectations and authorized hours
  • Monitor missed appointments and assist with client re-engagement efforts
  • Review progress notes for accuracy, quality, and compliance
  • Ensure documentation is submitted on time and meets company standards
  • Return notes for correction when documentation issues are identified
  • Ensure services provided align with the client’s ISP, goals, and approved service types
  • Address family concerns, complaints, and service-related escalations professionally
  • Provide guidance and problem-solving support to staff in the field
  • Assist with onboarding and training support for new QMHP staff
  • Communicate staffing, compliance, and operational concerns to leadership
  • Maintain a small caseload and provide direct Skills Training and/or Case Management services as needed
  • Complete documentation for assigned personal caseload
  • Support overall compliance with Medicaid, HIPAA, company policies, and operational standards
  • Help improve service consistency, staff performance, and client retention in the Lufkin region.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Must meet QMHP-CS qualifications under Texas standards
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to hold staff accountable while maintaining professionalism
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage schedules, deadlines, and multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to handle family concerns and service escalations professionally
  • Knowledge of BIRP documentation standards
  • Understanding of Skills Training and Case Management services
  • Knowledge of Medicaid documentation and compliance requirements
  • Ability to review documentation for accuracy and quality
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the service area
  • Proficiency with electronic documentation systems and basic computer skills
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards
