We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Clinician to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients through evidence-based interventions, supportive counseling, and holistic care approaches.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health and substance use assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy to clients with mental health and substance use disorders.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including case managers, psychiatrists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive client care.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to ongoing case consultations.
- Deliver psychoeducation to clients and families on topics such as coping strategies, relapse prevention, and emotional regulation.
- Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in mental health and substance use treatment.
Qualifications
- Active California licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health or substance use treatment settings.
- Strong understanding of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations.
- Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred but not required).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
