Job Description:

Location: UChicago Medicine AdventHealth GlenOaks School, 43 E Stevenson Dr, Glendale Heights, IL

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30a-3p, School year August-May, Summer school days available

Student Population: High School

Provides individual and group counseling sessions to address students' emotional, social, and academic needs. Conducts assessments to identify students' needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Collaborates with teachers, parents, and school staff to implement intervention strategies. Monitors and evaluates students' progress and adjusts treatment plans as necessary. Facilitates workshops and support groups to promote mental health and well-being. Maintains accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions and student progress. Provides crisis intervention and support during emergencies. Educates students on coping strategies and resilience-building techniques. Refers students to external mental health resources when necessary. Advocates for students' mental health needs within the school system. Other duties as assigned.


Education:


  • Master's [Required]

Work Experience:

  • Experience and knowledge in adolescent behavioral health and/or therapeutic school services [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW) [Required] OR

  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) [Required] OR

  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW) [Required] OR

  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) [Required] OR

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) [Required]

Pay Range:

$53,344.86 - $108,160.00
