Behavior Technician (Part-Time) – Paid Training Provided

Duties

• Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to support clients’ growth and development
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines, to foster independence
• Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions accurately and consistently
• Support the implementation of individualized care plans created by licensed clinicians or behavior analysts
• Engage clients in teaching activities that promote communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors
• Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards
• Collaborate with team members to monitor progress, update care plans, and ensure consistent behavioral management strategies

Requirements

• Passion for working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
• Basic understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles preferred but not required; paid training provided
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also demonstrating patience and compassion
• Strong organizational skills for data collection, documentation, and maintaining accurate medical records
• Willingness to learn medical terminology related to behavioral health and special education services
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work part-time hours as scheduled
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all HIPAA guidelines

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
