Sports & Spine Pain Management is a fast paced Interventional Pain Management practice dedicated to providing compassionate, efficient care to our patients. Our front desk team plays a critical role in maintaining patient flow, professionalism and financial accuracy.
We are seeking dependable, organized and confident Patient Service Coordinator as the face to our practice.
Position Summary
The Patient Service Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients and is responsible for managing front office operations, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, payment collection, and documentation in the electronic health record system.
Primary Responsibilities
- Patient check-in/check-out
- Insurance verification and eligibility
- Copay and time-of-service payment collection
- Appointment scheduling for multiple providers
- Multi-line phone management
- EMR documentation
- Maintain HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- 1–2+ years medical front desk experience required
- Insurance verification experience required
- EMR experience (Athena preferred)
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume setting
- Strong professionalism and attendance required
$18–$22 per hour (based on experience)
Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
