Full-Time In-Person Therapist, Counselor, Social Worker

Note - We are hiring a full-time in-person contract provider for our Tempe location, and full-time or part-time in-person contract provider for our Gilbert office. August start date.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide consistent, intentional care to patients and create enduring therapeutic relationships.
• Deliver counseling using specialized modalities. EMDR preferred.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage urgent situations effectively while ensuring client safety.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and billing requirements for insurance carriers. Complete clinical notes within 48 hours of visit completion.

Experience

• Strong background in applying evidence-based therapies such as EMDR, EFT, IFS, play therapy, etc.
• Comfort seeing couples, children, and families preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, mental health diagnostics, patient care procedures, and medical documentation standards. Proficiency with use of medical EHRs.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements related to patient records and confidentiality is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations effectively while maintaining professionalism and empathy.

Pay: $60.00 - $90.00 per hour
