Overview
Join our dynamic behavioral health team as a Behavioral Healthcare Provider (Licensed Independent Social Worker [LISW] or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor [LPCC]) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals across diverse settings. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive mental health services, including psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management, to promote recovery and well-being. You will work with a wide range of populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, providing compassionate care in outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, or via telehealth platforms. Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-10 coding standards to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to ensure patient safety during acute episodes.
  • Develop and document detailed medical records and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, case management activities, and discharge planning for patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Utilize telehealth experience to deliver remote counseling sessions effectively while maintaining high-quality patient engagement.
  • Engage in clinical research initiatives or data collection efforts to improve treatment outcomes and contribute to evidence-based practices within behavioral health.

Skills

  • Extensive experience in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, PTSD care, addiction counseling, and gender issues counseling.
  • Proficiency in crisis intervention, crisis management, and behavior management strategies tailored for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders.
  • Strong working knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation; familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes.
  • Skilled in working with children & families, pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities or chronic pain conditions.
  • Ability to conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations using medical terminology while adhering to HIPAA standards for confidentiality.
  • Experience in hospital settings or outpatient clinics involving patient care coordination and medical record management.
  • Competence in social work practices combined with clinical counseling expertise across diverse populations including those with special education needs or gender issues.
