Experteer Overview In this role you will design and execute rigorous research studies supporting USAFSAM/FESP, translating findings into actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to review literature, select statistical approaches, and ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance. You will deliver analyses, reports, and presentations that inform human performance research and policy. This is a mission-driven position with opportunities to shape studies, publish findings, and present at conferences. You’ll work in a security-conscious environment with occasional travel and a focus on confidential data handling. Compensation / Benefits • Develop and execute study protocols including hypotheses, methodologies, and data analysis plans • Conduct literature reviews and discuss analyses with USAFSAM/FESP staff • Advise on optimal statistical approaches for study data • Perform descriptive and inferential statistical analyses • Ensure data validity, IRB compliance, and secure data handling • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and reports • Complete IRB paperwork and training requirements • Prepare scientific/statistical reports for publications and coordination with USAFSAM/FESP and 711 HPW • Travel as needed for consultations and presentations • Coordinate data management with project team and maintain project database • Provide project operations support for USAFSAM/FES research activities • Lead or facilitate weekly research team meetings to ensure effective communication • Support additional USAFSAM/FESP investigations if workload changes Tasks • Master's degree in relevant psychology field (required) • Doctoral degree or Master's plus 7+ years of related experience (desirable) • U.S. citizenship and ability to pass Tier 1 background check (SF85) • Minimum 5 years of experience in database development, data gathering, and analytics for human performance research • Minimum 5 years of experience designing and conducting statistical analysis using JMP, SPSS, R, or similar • Minimum 5 years of experience producing research outputs (presentations, peer-reviewed papers, technical reports) • Experience in study design, methodology, and dissemination of empirically based research • Willingness to sign NDA Key requirements • 401K with company match • medical, dental, disability, and life insurance • tuition reimbursement • paid time off • 11 paid holidays
