Overview
Join our dedicated team as an Addiction Counselor (RADT/CADC), where you will play a vital role in guiding individuals through their recovery journey. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing compassionate, evidence-based addiction counseling and mental health support. You will work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, facilitate group, and coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team. Your expertise will help empower clients to achieve lasting recovery and improve their overall well-being.

*Must have RADT/CADC (pay range for Certified Counselor's $24-$26)

*Pay range reflects starting pay based on experience

6 bed max/co-ed primary addiction residential facility.

CPR and TB required.

Shift available: Wednesday - Sunday Swing shift 3pm-1130pm

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, withdrawal scales, and ongoing mental stability.
  • Perform observed self-administration of medications ordered.
  • Maintain Milieu withing the facility.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans utilizing behavioral health techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapy.
  • Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions focused on addiction recovery, mental health, and family dynamics.
  • Provide crisis intervention and crisis management support to clients experiencing acute distress or relapse episodes.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, including group notes, case management notes, and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, therapists, and community resources to coordinate home and community care services.

Experience

  • Proven experience in addiction counseling or clinical counseling within behavioral health or mental health settings.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging patients in motivational interviewing, family counseling, and group therapy sessions.
