Optometric Technician / Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator

In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a warm, welcoming environment while supporting the clinical team with essential eye care procedures. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help streamline daily operations, promote patient satisfaction, and uphold the highest standards of medical and optical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly upon arrival
• Answer phone calls as needed
• Create or reschedule appointments
• Efficiently manage check-in and check-out procedures at the front desk
• Prepare patients for eye examinations by doing pretesting
• Maintain patient records according to HIPAA regulations
• Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment

Skills

• Communicate well with patients
• Proficiency in HIPAA compliance
• Quick to learn technology and routines
• Math skills to ensure proper billing during check out
• Experience working with diverse patient groups

**Prior experience is a plus but not necessary. On-the-job training can be provided.
