Position Overview
ProFamily is seeking a Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to join our growing clinical team. This role offers the opportunity to engage in meaningful, high-impact work with children and families involved in the child welfare system, as well as those navigating complex clinical and family needs.
The ideal candidate brings strong clinical judgment, excellent assessment skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within systems of care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including:
Child and Adolescent Psychological Evaluations
Adult Psychological Evaluations
Psychosexual Evaluations
Provide clear, timely, and clinically sound written reports
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinical and administrative staff, DFCS, legal systems, and community partners
Participate in case consultation and clinical staffing as needed
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with state and agency standards
Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality standards
Produce clear, timely, and well-supported psychological reports
Provide oversight or supervision to psychometrists or designated clinical staff (if applicable)
Follow ProFamily policies, procedures, and documentation expectations
Contribute to community engagement or professional outreach efforts as appropriate
Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD)
Licensed Psychologist in the state of Georgia (or license eligible)
Strong assessment and report writing skills
Ability to manage complex cases with professionalism and sound clinical judgment
Comfortable working within multidisciplinary and systems-based environments
Proficient with EHR systems and general computer use
Preferred:
Experience working within or alongside the child welfare system
Familiarity with court-involved cases and forensic or quasi-forensic evaluations
Experience working with children, families, and high-risk populations
Background in pediatric or family-focused clinical work
Familiarity with Medicaid and third-party reimbursement processes
