Social Worker - Master of Social Work
Shift - 8 hour and 10 hour shifts available, no holidays, weekend rotation required.
Later shift would be heavily supporting the ED. 8's: 8am-4:30pm or 3pm-11:30pm (ED) 10's: 3pm-1:30am (ED)

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs, including mental health, addiction issues, child welfare concerns, and housing stability.
- Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to support clients during urgent situations.
- Deliver addiction counseling and behavioral health services, utilizing motivational interviewing to motivate positive change.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns, providing guidance on best practices in social work and client engagement.
- Develop individualized care plans that incorporate child welfare considerations, childcare needs, and community resources.
- Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, service plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Masters Social Worker license (LMSW) in the state of MI
- 5+ years case management experience with 2+ years recent acute inpatient case management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct motivational interviewing and other client-centered communication techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills combined with a compassionate approach to client engagement and mentoring.
